Absolutely. But guys with skills will put up numbers regardless of whether they are "the guy." That's the beauty of the new scoring.  It somwhat neutralizes the effects of the whims of MLB managers and rewards guys who can pitch.  And those guys have a way of tumbling into leverage over time.  Example: Karinchak.
