Jeff,

Yes, that's right, we are.

Then it's just a matter of agreeing on the total number of keepers allowed. But in the spirit of John Fruit, let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope the season continues without interruption.

Frank,

I think we’re saying the same thing.  You get to choose your keepers off of the full 2020 roster and no one on the 2020 roster’s contracts will have been advanced a year.

Jeff,

Except I'm going a step further: either the entire current roster is the keeper roster, or we at at least make a significantly larger allowance for keepers.

Frank,

That’s exactly what I was suggesting.  We start with this year’s rosters, we don’t roll contracts, and we choose our keeper rosters from there.

The bigger question is what happens to our rosters.

My initial idea would be that we carry everything over as if 2020 never happened. This year's free agents, Y2, Y1 players etc. will have the
same status at the same salary on the same team next year.

I know this is going to come as a shock to some (including me) but: “I agree with Buddha!”

I say if MLB doesn’t crown a champ— we shouldn’t either

League:  A giant mess on two fronts.

1.  Some but not all teams submitted FAAB bids yesterday, apparently because some forgot that there was no FAAB bidding this past week (see my email with the schedule of dates). I am going
to work with Onroto to reverse all of those transactions, but let me know what corrective actions the affected teams want to take that involved the same players that were waived or reserved.

2.  On the real world front, the cancellation of several games today is a concern.  I wonder if this season is really going to get played? We may want to start considering contingency plans.
