Indians placed RHP Zach Plesac on the 10-day injured list with a non-displaced fracture in hisright thumb. (Plesac apparently suffered the injury while "aggressively" taking off a shirt following his start Sunday afternoon against the Twins. Add that to the long and growing list of odd baseball injuries. It's unclear when he might be ready to return to the Indians' starting rotation. The 26-year-old right-hander leaves behind a 4.14 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 38/12 K/BB ratio in 10 starts covering 58 2/3 innings.)
How can Plesac not be on Klein's team?  In the meantime, I'm in the market for a pitcher with functional thumbs.
