ESPN just came out with an update of its top prospects. Spoiler alert....a lot of them (7 out of the top 14 AL prospects) are proud members of the Berliners and could soon join the likes of Witt, Rodriguez, Volpe and Jung.

That's the good news. The bad news is that 7 might be one or two too many. But that's good news for the rest of the league.

As soon as the season is over and trading is once again allowed, the Berliners will be looking to exchange a few of its prime beans for major league ready talent. I'm listing AL players only and only those rated at a FV (Future Value) of 60:

1 (1) Jackson Holliday - Berliners - $10 Y1

2 (3) Carson Williams - Buddha - $10 Rookie

3 (4) Junior Caminero - Hoosier Daddies - $2 Rookie

4 (5) Marcelo Mayer - Berliners - $5 Rookie

5 (6) Coby Mayo - Berliners - $5 Rookie

6 (7) Roman Anthony - Bombers - $5 Rookie

7 (8) Walker Jenkins - Berliners - $10 Rookie

8 (9) Jackson Jobe - Angry Young Men - $10 Rookie

9 (10) Samuel Basallo - Berliners - $10 Rookie

10 (11) Colt Emerson - Nukes - $10 Rookie

11 (12) Max Clark - Berliners - $5 Rookie

12 (14) Emmanuel Rodriguez - Berliners - $10 Rookie

13 (15) Colson Montgomery - Bombers $10 Rookie

14 (18) Travis Bazzana - Free Agent

I note, just for the sake of interest, that 8 of the 14 players have $10 salaries. That apparently makes them worthless to at least two members of our league, though ironically enough one of them is owned by one of those members. I suppose it isn't the least bit surprising that the other member owns none of them since he has made it known (at least to me) that beans (or at least those priced at more than $2) have no value whatsoever. I guess we shall see. ;-)

That is all!

And how about the race for the Damon? This could be one of the closest races in years.

Jeff
