[USML Announce] Contract status

Good question.  I defer to the will of the league.  The rule says "the
contract status of a free agent acquired on or before the last weekly
transaction deadline before September 1 is that of a first-year player."  I
view tonight (August 31) as the "transaction deadline" for FAAB purposes,
so acquired players should be Y1.  Others should feel free to comment.
