As some of us begin the yearly atonement for our sins, I figured it would be a good time to announce my formal resignation from the USML.

The reasons? There are many, but I can squarely blame Mr Jerry Reinsdorf for sucking all joy out of my favorite sport over the past 3-4 years, leaving me uninterested in baseball— something I never would have fathomed at any stage of life.

I look forward to spending more time with my family, though not sure about those in North Carolina. It has been a fun ride and while this is just goodbye for now….nah, it’s for good. Thanks for the memories and great friendships.

League:  A quick update to note that all of the prize money was distributed to the top four finishers, so please be sure to check your Venmo and/or Zelle accounts for the funds.  There is one owner to whom I have not yet distributed, but I have reached out to that owner to complete this.
