Ditto – congrats to Buddha and Jim on an excellent campaign from start to finish, including the trades you made along the way. In addition to his cash prize, we will also honor Buddha by picking a date for the 2025 where he can actually attend.

Kudos to Jeff and Andy for trying to make things interesting.  I will wait until Sunday to congratulate the 4th place team.

This was an impressive campaign from the Buddha’s from start to finish.  My team took too long to get off the ground and the losses of Civale, Fedde, Ryan, etc. decimated my pitching in a way that couldn’t be repaired.

Congratulations to Buddha and Jim on a well earned victory.  The Berliners will be back in 2025 with a roster headlined by Witt, Julio, Holliday, Volpe, Jung and Ober and backed up by a boatload of prospects including some combination of Roki Sasaki, Marcelo Mayer, Jackson Holliday’s baby brother, Coby Mayo, Max Clark, Walker Jenkins, Emmanuel Rodriguez and  Samuel Basallo.

Can’t wait to get next season going.

Meanwhile, the Berliners appear to have a solid lead in the race for the Dale Earnhardt ("second place is the first loser") trophy. Back in July, Winick declared himself "in it to win it," but he left himself too much to do down the stretch.

Finally, the hottest race in this last week of the season is the Drive for Five, with the Nukes head-and-head with the Lubeasts. Look for the Nukes to grab the coveted top spot in next year's rotation draft following some shrewd roster tweaks heading into this week.

Go White Sox! 121 is within reach!
