[USML Announce] You Miss One Day ...

It would appear from an unpartial observer's standpoint that the Bombers'
dumping stategy was only half-baked, i.e. with the thought they could still
compete this year. Its certainly more fun to stay in the race, even if its
only for third or fourth place, than to dump early and be out of it for the
season. The risk, of course, is a fifth place finish. We're certainly glad
not to have dumped, when conventional wisdom says it was the thing to do.

See, Jeff, the problem with the whole fifth place thing is that the Bombers
are now within a razor's edge of third, not fifth, and passing a team that
supposedly bulked up for this year. I know you get that.

Rich, you may have put your finger on the problem. Dump does not
equate with "solid foundation for the future" for the Bombers, unless
your motto is "Drive for Five" in which case I think the Bombers are
      exceptionally well positioned.
