Because there's no certainty with Blanton, Reed, Craine, etc.  It's sort of like assuming Delgado will play catcher ... 

Anyway, I'm OK with Maurer.  Why not go with your earlier suggestion, including anyone currently listed as "first string" on mlb.com's depth charts?
