[USML Announce] Draft Time

Ft. Lauderdale would be perfect for me! Actually the wedding is in the Keys. If I'm there for a Sat night wedding, I don't think I'm going to be able to get to Chicago the following afternoon. Once I escape the cold midwest for some Florida warmth, I'd be crazy only to stay for a day. The other little wrinkle is that I was told to "save the date" for Apr 2 but that the wedding may be a different weekend in April. So until I know for sure, it would be great if we could postpone setting a draft date. Also, I know I speak from self- interest here but I don't think that things worked out too badly or awkwardly by having an early draft last year. As I said last year when we were debating days - there are plenty of other roto-leagues that conduct their draft a month or more in advance of the season. And yes, I was one of the culprits behind the early draft last year.

As I just mentioned to Jim, I think we need to try to do the draft on
Sunday the 3rd (either late afternoon or evening). The prior weekend
didn't work for someone (I think Kerber) and the next weekend won't work
for you and Mark. If we go outside of that three week period, history has
taught that all kinds of problems arise.

Jeff
