I agree with you Jim. While not ideal, things didn't work out too badly. I'd hope that if this is where we end up, we can limit the number of issues that we need to revisit.

If my memory is correct, the most difficult issue had to do with draft eligibility and players that we all assumed would be on the big-league roster but who did not appear on the 40 man roster at that time -- Joe Mauer etc.

Ft. Lauderdale would be perfect for me! Actually the wedding is in the Keys. If I'm there for a Sat night wedding, I don't think I'm going to be able to get to Chicago the following afternoon. Once I escape the cold midwest for some Florida warmth, I'd be crazy only to stay for a day. The other little wrinkle is that I was told to "save the date" for Apr 2 but that the wedding may be a different weekend in April. So until I know for sure, it would be great if we could postpone setting a draft date. Also, I know I speak from self- interest here but I don't think that things worked out too badly or awkwardly by having an early draft last year. As I said last year when we were debating days - there are plenty of other roto-leagues that conduct their draft a month or more in advance of the season. And yes, I was one of the culprits behind the early draft last year.
