Its a big day for the Angry Young Men.  Since Mr. Shabelman was the only one who recognized the considerable value in Danny Miceli, he is the lucky recipient of the sole source of Tampa Bay saves.  He apparently was also the only one who also recognized the fantasy value of a big bat in the middle of the Yankee lineup.  The Berliners and The Angry Young Men are therefore pleased to announce the following mutually beneficial transaction:

And, yes.....The  Berliners will be able to satisfy the salary floor.  Guess this means that Kerber can strike at least one more off of the list.  Maybe Andy's decision to wait until the All-Star break wasn't the best idea after all.  However.....there's still Reggie Sanders and Kevin Millwood.  But you might not want to wait too long.  The stove is very, very hot.
