What's not encouraging about that?  Let's break it down:
 
He's $5
He's projected to move quickly to the major leagues.
He should hit for good average.
He should have decent power.
 
Naw - nothing encouraging there whatsoever.  Come on - this guy  already 
looks far better than, just to choose a couple names at random -  Mayberry, 
Ramirez, Span and Giarratano.
