  A sign from above: last night I sat down to watch the Pack play the Eagles, right after the conclusion of Yom Kippur services. My day-long atonement paid immediate dividends:  the Big Guy sent a storm to Northbrook that knocked out my satellite reception, knocked out my cable and internet reception, made radio reception fuzzy, and then flooded our street so badly that I had to go out and help neighbors clear the sewer grates, and therefore was unable to watch the Packer game at all in the second half.  Talk about looking out for my best interests,,,,Kerber, try topping that one!

Yikes, Kerbs, I assume you're kidding.  No Packer fan will concede that.  The
one and done refers to their playoff trip (one game and done, just like 2005 and

2001), not any Super Bowl.

Regarding the Bears' "one and done", it seems to me to be premature to assume
either that they'll win the Super Bowl this season or that they will not repeat.

However, coming from a cheesehead, even the "one" part is quite a concession.
