Before adding Sabathia, Milwaukee had a team salary of $80,937,499 (15th),
while the Cubs have a payroll of $118,345,833 (8th). So, taking the $260
salary, that would be $260 for the Cubs and 177.81 for the Brewers. And having
just signed the most expensive guy in the trade market, its awfully hard to
argue that they're operating at a disadvantage in FAAB.
No...the bottom line is that Milwaukee has no good excuse for the fact that
they just suck.

Actually, I find Brewer fans talking trash to be more amazing. In the
entire history of this team, it has two divisions championships and one trip to
the world series (1982, where it lost). In that same 40 year history, it has
only 13 seasons in which it finished over .500. Putting aside last year
(when they had a little problem with that "choke" thing), the prior one was 1992.
In retrospect, I guess I have to agree with Fruit about one thing. It isn't
really fair to suggest that the Brewers are chokers, because they'd have to
win a few for us to find out how they respond to pressure. No, instead of
chokers, I'd have to say they just suck.
Go Cubs!!
P.S. Any other football fans pleased to see Green Bay turn their back on
Favre? I'm sure Aaron Rodgers will be a huge improvement.....NOT.

Cub fans trash talking???? Now I've heard it all. Thought it was bad
enough when my Cub Kool-Aid swillin' brother told me he hated the Yankees
