According to the story posted on MLB.com: ?The deal has not been officially announced, pending the completion of physicals and the exchange of medical paperwork. ?So, I think that explains that.
I don't think we need to agree on anything for this one, but for what it's worth I do agree w/ MB that we should rely on the system, which is how I think we've done it in the past. ?Until they show up there, they are not eligible.
By the way, I put in a bid ?of $26 on David Purcey. ?Anybody else?

What you describe is exactly how I thought things
work.? I too wanted to bid on Nady.

bidding
League:
?
? I went to put in a bid on
Xavier Nady, but he is not yet listed in the AL player pool, so I could not bid on him, and
the trade transaction does not show up on MLB.com, so my take is that he is not
yet eligible for FAAB bidding.? We may need to quickly agree on some sort
of rule for players like this, but my suggestion is to let the system govern who
is
and is not eligible.
