[USML Announce] Hansen

Does that mean that since Craig has probably gone six months of major league
time without pitching in a major league game he has regained rookie status?
I thought you said that couldn't happen?

Roster space is now available for Josh Hamilton!!!!

By the way, you actually can get your virginity back if you go six months
without getting any. (They send you a certificate in the mail.) However,
it happens very seldom, and no one wants to talk about it, so it's not
widely known.

You cut The Man? I assumed you'd cut someone else to make room for him

(snicker).

OK, OK! I hereby drop Hansen. Clearly an outcome-determinative move that
takes

my team out of clear front-runner status ...

My information came from our old All Star Stats website, not some fancy pay

service. I went back and checked, and the info came from 2006. Silly me, I

forgot that former prospect (and former rookie) Hansen spent all of 2007 in
the

minors learning to pitch. That said, I have no reason to think the
transaction

history from 2006 is wrong, especially since he pitched 38 innings out of
the

bullpen that year, which equates to about half a season of work for most

relievers. If I understand correctly, rookie status, like virginity, cannot
be

regained once lost.

Craig Hansen is The Man. And don't you forget it.

Anyway, I don't have the fancy pay services that gives group discounts to

DUMP. But Rotoworld shows that Hansen was optioned to Pawtucket on March 27
and

never indicates that he was recalled. Rotoworld does note that Hansen
pitched

two scoreless innings for Pawtucket on July 27, which would be hard for him
to

have done if Kerber's information was accurate.

at former prospect Craig Hansen's transaction history. He was called up
last

year on 6/20 and sent back down on 8/21--so that's more than sixty days of

service time right there. So, even if he were a prospect, which he's not,
he

wouldn't be rookie-eligible.

I come up with nearly the same numbers. I show the LMC needing 15 players
with

$201 left and four no contract reserve roster players. Can you take another
look

at your calculation and see if you still come up with 14/200? If Jeff eats
the

Chris Ray contract, his money available will drop to $198. -- Rich

Announcements Subject: [USML Announce] Money Check Greetings; A preliminary

(very preliminary) check of rosters reveals that every single team kept 9

players. Depending on slotting of fellows like Mark B's Joba, Brad's Luke
H.,

and Mark K's Clement this is what I came up with; AYM - 14/159 B Bombers -

14/192 Brats - 14/189 K 9 - 14/174 Lake M. Squid - 14/200 GOP - 14/162
'Torns -

14/187 R Hots - 14/192 Nukes - 14/217 Berliners (F*** Laffey!) - 14/208
H.D.s -

14/177 See y'all next week, Rick
