ITEM:
CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians have reinstated infielder Jason
Donald from the 15-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A
Columbus.
Donald was in line to be the club's starting third baseman before he
broke his left hand in spring training when he got hit by a pitch on
March 4. In his absence, Jack Hannahan has staked a claim to the
everyday job at third, playing solid defense and hitting better than
expected.
LOSER: Cornerstone of Bombers' keepers can't keep job, compelling
Bombers to keep Morel active or coerce Berliners to trade Encarnacion.
Either way, team's trend is DISHEARTENING.
WINNER: LMC will play Hannahan's hot hand until Moustakas makes it to
the Show in a few weeks, as team trends toward VICTORY.
