[USML Announce] FAAB

O! King!
I only had $15 of FAAB left. I figured you of all people would have bid
something/anything on Mike Adams, especially in light of Feliz's struggles
and ineffectiveness, of which you know more than even the team;s coaching
staff. But I admire your confidence in the young twirler and hope that your
faith will be rewarded as much as Robbins will be with his
low-cost/high-reward acquisition.

The fact that the Italian Stallion went for $11 shows you the USML's high
degree of interest in this power-hittting second sacker. I'm quite happy to
add him to my team. I will let our fellow owners and Royals' loyalists tell
you how this kid is the pride of the Royals *familia. * The numbers will
speak for themselves, although I know they shall never be loud enough to
drown out your cynicism, your scorn and your brutish nastiness.

As to your chest-thumping about Rasmus and the $5 catcher: I have spoken
my piece on the former and only wish I had enough of a budget to even
consider a bid on him: it was a masterstroke by the master of strokes,
albeit perhaps not as brilliant as Robbins' move this weekend. Time will
tell. Your $5 catcher is not likely to be retained, in light of your other
cheap keeps and guaranteed contracts. So, enjoy his competition against
Crushin' Kelly Schoppach these waning weeks of a bitter baseball season, but
please, enough of this guy already.

With regards,
Brad Lee
