I'm in favor of expansion (or replacement of Buddha in essence).

I'm unavailable the weekend of March 31st. Otherwise I will clear the decks as necessary to accommodate the draft.

AFL update coming.

When that happened, there was some discussion about trying to get back to 11 teams, and later during the year, I think Rich had suggested he may have identified a potential new owner. What do people think about expanding to 11 teams ? Rich, is the person you had mentioned still interested? If so, how do you suggest we proceed?

Last year we tried to solve that problem by trying to get early commitments to a specific date, but my recollection is that we ended up having to select a different date anyway due to later-arising conflicts. Nonetheless, I still think it makes sense to at least look at people’s calendars now and see what things look like. Opening day is March 28 (the Japan games). Below are weekend draft dates around that time. Please respond to this email by letting us know which of these days you are currently available, understanding that schedules can change as the dates get closer.
