[USML Announce] 2012 Reserve Roster Analysis......Baby, It's Yu: Nukes' Reserve Roster A Bomb

The Rangers' signing of Yu Darvish means the Nukes have another player to
add to a reserve list that features some sparkle but few real gems. On the
pitching side, Darvish (5) will sidle up to Colby Lewis (2); among other
twirlers, the Nukes must decide whether to reinvest in the likes of
Farnsworth (12) and Beckett (20), with Robertson (5) as Mariano insurance.
On offense, Nukes give a nod to Trumbo (10), Johnson (5), Revere (5) and
Joyce (5).

What does this mean for the Nukes? Low cost talent, much of it modest, with
plenty of money to spend at the draft--but that will be the case for many
teams this year, as inflation watchers say that draft day inflation will
soar higher than Klein's blood pressure when the Rips make deals with the
Berliners.

Whatever players will cost on draft day, early signals point to a first
place bash between the Angry Young Men and Berliners. As much as Winick
touts his squad (admittedly, an interesting one if the likes of Montero and
Moore live up to their hype and the AL doesn't figure out Nova), Winick
must not overlook the Angries: a team built upon the likes Ackley,
Hamilton, Ortiz, Cain, Peralta, Conger, Hellickson, Fister and Ogando
promises to put a match to Winick's competitive fires.

So prepare yoursleves: Winick's magazine is sure to hit bookstores any day.
And if you're not afraid to go to stores that check your drivers license
and pack your parcels in plain brown bags, you'll find it a good read.

That is all for now.....
