[USML Announce] Shandler's Top Prospects

Well, Shandler's list of 2012 Top Prospects is out and the news is all 
good for the Berliners;  (i) 4 out of the top 6 (was 5 out of the top 6 
before the recent trade with Brad Lee); (ii) #1 overall (Matt Moore), 
(iii) 5 out of the top 15 and (iv) 7 out of the top 30 prospects.

The Hoosier Daddies come in right behind the Berliners with 5 top 30 
prospects, topping out with Miguel Sano at #7.

Calamari, Brats and Riptorns all have 2 prospects in the top 30.  
Riptorns top out with the #2 AL prospect (Mike Trout), thanks to my 
overly generous recent offer.  The Calamari top out at #4 with 
Jurickson Profar and the Brats top prospect is Travis d'Arnaud at #15.  


The only other teams with top 30 prospects are the Nukes with Dellin 
Betances at #27 and the Bombers with Martin Perez at #10, another top 
prospect generously traded from the Berliners.

What makes this crop of prospects most interesting is the extent to 
which they are held at very favorable salaries.  Among the 20 prospects 
that are owned, more than half of them are $5 or less (3-$2 salaries 
and 9-$5 salaries).
