[USML Announce] Orioles - Yankees report

Just got back from the game at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota.  We were fair weather fans and left after the top of the 6th.  With that caveat, here is my report:

The crowd was ready to mutiny when they realized neither ARod nor Jeter were in the starting lineup.

Ivan Nova looked like he wanted to be somewhere else, pitching lackadaisically and giving up 5 in the first 2 innings.

Adam Jones bashed a 3r HR in the 1st and popped out deep in his next at bat.

Matt Weiters bopped an effortless 1R HR in the 1st. He was 1-3 in throwing out runners on attempted steals but also picked off 1 of the successful runners at 2nd a few pitchers later.

Robinson Cano fouled a pitch off his hand and left the game in pain.

Calamari player and Yankee Eduardo Nunez,starting for Jeter, legged out an infield single but got thrown out attempting to steal 2nd. He looked bad in his other 2 at bats.

Endy Chavez hit a couple of singles and seemed to be enjoying himself out there.

The Yankees started another catching Molina that I hadn't heard of before.

And that's all the news fit to print.
