[USML Announce] USML - Draft Day 2013

I think we've actually done that before, and I don't recall it being a particularly big deal because we start earlier than most folks that come for the parade.  Our own schedules are generally more daunting than a parade.

Just should point out that one of those days will likely be the Chicago St. Patrick's Day parade/celebration, so I imagine that will add a wrinkle of complication.  I assume it would be on Saturday the 16th, but maybe we should find out before committing?

  With the 2012 USML season behind us, it is time to begin planning for 2013.  The first order of business is to set a draft date.  Here is some information and then a proposal.


Information:  The first MLB game is Sunday, March 31; April 1 is opening day.  Easter is also March 31.  The dates of the two Passover seders are March 25-26.  GBN/Mizzou Spring Break is March 23-30 (I recognize this one may not apply to everybody).


Proposal:  Given the tradition of drafting before opening day, I propose that we set the draft for either March 16 (Saturday) or March 17 (Sunday).   Please let me know if either of the dates that weekend will work for you.
