“It’s obvious that the Klein 9 have been whipsawed by the tidal wave of trades over the last several weeks,” opined baseball expert Jeff Winick. “To trade a Triple-A magic bean like Ian Kinsler for a light hitting shortstop and a 6th outfielder does absolutely nothing for his team. Is he playing for this year? Is he trying to meet some quota? Does he simply like trading with Rick? I don’t get it and, frankly, I don’t think Andy does either. I think his focus has been diverted to that imaginary COPS thing he’s doing and his team will be longer be a factor. Time to go–here comes Steve Stein and I have to look like I’m doing something billable…”
