For Fathers Day, my kids got me a book of memorable quotes from sports figures. This quote probably came to late to make the book, but it surely should have been included.
A.J. Pierzinski, following the White Sox 11-8 win Monday night over the Royals: “It was one of those nights when the team that scored the most runs was going to win.”

Great quote! Does anyone remember former Cub (and current Astro) announcer Milo Hamilton? He used to say things like that all the time. Similar to A.J., I remember him once opining that “you won’t win many games if you don’t score any runs, good kid.”
