It was revealed today that Sidney Ponson was arrested in January in Florida and charged with driving under the influence. Quite an offseason for Sir Sid. On Jan 21, Ponson was pulled over while going 85 mph in a 65-mph zone and failed a field sobriety test. No court date has been set in the case. There is some good news for those that have already drafted Ponson. The right-hander said today that he doesn’t expect the hand injury he suffered in an altercation to cause him to miss any time.
